I was thinking about adding a background option in the next version but I'm not sure that the idea in your second picture would work well with the splintered menu. I could however add another option to include the deviantart logo in the speed dial.
Unfortunately I don't know when I'm going to work on this, but I presume some time within the following month

hi Arty, I just discovered your opera extension for deviantart and I find it awesome, I know is impossible to access to the daily deviations and messages at the same time from speed dial, I would like to ask you a favor, I edited your extension and changed the gradient background image like this [link]

with that green background i looks more like devianart, but I would like to make it look more like this [link] I tried by my own, but I couldn't, was pretty hard to me, I dont know about css or html, So I wanted to ask you if you can edit your own extension to make it look like that picture (I'm a little OCD) hehe I appreciate your effort in creating this wonderful extension
